Shooting competition tips [Shoot To Thrill] [SOLVED]

Any tips on how to win this god forsaken thing? I swear, I'm good at shooting. I play typicaly as a headshooter but for some reason I'm always second in this competition. It's driving me nuts, because I want to try to full my weapon stash in OG apartament, and this reward is apparently needed. I need tips, what weapon to use etc. please.

I use Dying Night, the one you get from Wilson early on. The auto means you can reach 100 hits pretty easily. Also, and you probably already know this, hit all the targets that appear, whether they're yours or not.

I've only lost once, the first time I tried and didn't know what was involved (so I used the gun on the counter).

Yes, like Similar says, using a gun that shoots quick matters here, and it doesn't have to be powerful, so the Dying Night is perfect, or a regular Lexington (can be bought from his shop, I think, and also the blueprint to craft one).

Keep shooting the targets multiple times until they disappear. Hitting them once is not enough. And any target is valid, as Similar also said

Shooting each target only once? Rookie mistake, keep shooting them.

Use a Lexington pistol and dump rounds at every target. Easy win. The game tempts you to use the Nue pistol at your firing station...never use it.

That's the Stadium Love quest. Best way to beat it is to get a bit of practice with a Nova revolver, wear an ammo vest that increases your reload speed, make sure you reload before starting each stage, and if any of the Sixth Street gonks think they know you from somewhere, be ready to rumble.

An Omaha pistol works better than a lexington, those can nearly go full auto especially the Iconic one you can find near Judy's workspace at Lizzie's.

Just shoot the targets, over and over, like the guy says in his pre-competition spiel. I did it first time, thought it was just a fluff mission, but the pistol reward was excellent at the time.

Yeah, the key to win this, is to listen exactly what the task is:
Hit any target, as often as possible.

So take a gun that fires fast and has a big mag (Dying Night, your free starter gun is perfect).
And once the competition starts, fire on any target you see. Not just your target, any target. And not just once but as often as you can.
You should get around 130 hits, but the game stops counting at 100.

Lizzie. You hit each target that often that you reach 100 half way through the competition. Impossible to fail with Lizzie.

I used Dying Night and as mentioned above, it's the first gun Wilson gives you.
However, you can also use those disposable guns which you can purchase from the vending machine that is located right inside the shooting booth.

Those disposables shoot many rounds and you can replace them with new ones once you've run out of bullets, over and over. Easy win with those things. Shoot every target (not just your own) you see pop up, multiple times. :)

Also, remember to track the quest in the quest log or you won't get the shot counter on the screen. You can shoot a target multiple times before it retracts, so any of the burst fire pistols work well. You can hit max points in like 25 seconds.

you can win stadium love and Shoot To Thrill with a CET cheat mod Simple Menu - An In-Game UI including Hotkeys [www.nexusmods.com] with Simply menu just put a check mark on all the weapon choices to shoot with and you win them both easily

Stadium Love is super easy with Microgenerator cyberware. Just make sure the first shot after reloading is EMP-blasting multiple targets.
