Getting an early start?

In the middle of my 2nd play through (female V, netrunner) I ran into this kid in a corner, walking through city center. I guess you can't started too early, learning gun play in NC.

Yeah, depending on the city district, kids are differently dressed and play with different things, I've noticed. It's a dystopian game / setting, after all.

Outside Vic's are indeed some 'low-class' children playing with guns and drug-stuff (I think) sometimes, I've noticed, and also outside one of the other ripperdocs you meet early in the game. Completely messed up kids...

Both kids were in the same corner, about 20 minutes (game time) apart, here in City Center:

There is an ad you can see on some of the screens that shows a family (pregnant mom, dad, two kids as young as the one in your image) all holding guns, with the caption that implies "you don't have to be rich to be armed." There is another ad with an announcer that is suggesting the right kinds of guns for you to purchase for your kids to take with them to school.

In this crap-sack world of Night City, being unarmed at any age is weird.
