Cant open map/ Inventory

I already restarted the game, loaded an older svapoint. but nothing helps. Any ideas?

Same here, just encountered the bug. i read some stuff on steam/reddit. im about 1 hour now of trying fixing that game breaking bug. So : 1) tryed to save game, quit to windows, then reload the save, doesnt work. 2) tryed quick save then quick load , doesnt work. 3) came to joytoy in jigjig street , (used it) doesnt work. 4) killed myself , doesnt work 5) no idea now , i mean what to do ? doest someone have a fix for this ?

I found some sort of first heal solution ... you have to go in game, and load a save before the actual quest ( so i think the bug could happen on any quest, i lost just 15 minutes, so its ok , but annoying) doing like this doesnt trigger the bug

Map, inventory, phone, fast travel are all broken for me, 50 hours in. Finding topics about this that date back three years... "you can't do that right now"

"You cant do this right now" is related to phantom liberty. There is no fix. I just lost 50 hrs or playtime. because of this bug. You have only one option. save before every mission in different slots. If your lucky one of your saves may not be corrupted.
I am not hating on the game or devs here because i adore cyberpunk....BUT, this is a pretty serious bug and needs to be fixed like NOW?
because you have an at least 50/50 chance of loosing your whole save Which basically makes Cyberpunk 2027 UNPLAYABLE

Same here, dead game, f5 and f9 don't work, going back to previous saves don't work. Tried a lot of activities to see if that would reset the system; Sleeping, playing horse race game in the apartment opening inventory, showering, playing pool. Nothing helps. Fast traves are dead, can't use phone, can't access menu items. Went to ripper doc, I can use the menus in there but not once out the chair. Doesn't look like there is a fix.

Had the same issue. It seems playing braindance from Alex has fixed the issue. Ofc it's a workaround but that's better than nothing. I got access to a map with getting into Fast Travel and hit Escape. That opened map for me and I was able to get direction to my original safehouse.

ANY TIME you get control glitches, just die. flatline yourself, and then load last checkpoint. You would not believe how many dumb things like can't get the map up, can't open a car door, can't get your inventory, can't activate cyberware, etc that this will reset. Loading the save directly doesn't seem to, although if you keep reloading and reloading and reloading, sometimes it does.

but dying, crazy as it sounds, does. Always try it when controls go wonky. Same for activating an animated cutscene, but depending on how far along you are, your options are limited. There's always the joytoys on jigjig street, though.

dark's got a persistent one, and apparently this happens too, many have to disable all mods, load an old save, then load a newer save, then re-enable mods, it's a silly dance of frustration and anger, since we don't even know why it does it, just the input contexts get messed up... maybe they'll one day add some option to reset the controls, but if they haven't by now...
