it's also sensitive to alt-tabbing. you did it 20 times and it's fine, on the 21st it won't "come back" or will flatline, especially in full screen mode.
That's not unique to this game, but still frustrating if you didn't save before walking away.
thats probably the problem, its upsetting, i hate have to replay from the begining over and over, this time around i decided to play on easy and play for the story, but i afk and do other things and i do alt tab
like dont touch your keyboard for 10 mins screen will go black, untill you press something and then when it does again on the 4th time or so it will go black and stay black buy you will still hear the music
You can save the game, either manually through the menu, or simply press F5 to quicksave when you leave the PC. No need to start over. Unless I misunderstood something, which is a common occurrence.
And Alt-Tabbing when leaving games is a good idea anyway, especially hardware demanding ones, to save some power and cool down the graphics card for a while
