GIG : An inconvenient killer.
I'm currently completing this GIG, and there is a door that requires 16 Technical Ability to open. I have like 10 attributes points not spent and My Technical Ability is 12, is it worth spending it to get throught this specific door.

Unless there's an iconic that you can only get through that specific door and you need it or just REALLY hate missing them, probably not unless you're specializing into tech weapons and high-end cyberware.

I wouldn't go and throw Perk Points into anything for very specific situations and scenarios. If you can get benefit out of doing so then do it (typically if your build needs the benefits of high Tech Ability or if you want to go stealth but did not go into our Netrunning side of things Tech helpful is help you bypass some obstacles without hacking ability).

If that's the door I am thinking of (the one at the front of the club), you don't get really a ton of benefit other than that just being an alternative entrance. If you have a Street Kid path you can use that, or just pay the bouncer at the door.

It's a door inside the club, the elevator to go in only required Tech Ability 8.

Naw you don't. I remember doing that quest recently without the ability to open it and still being able to not raise alarms.

If you do miss out on Iconics (which I don't think there's one there iirc), you can buy Iconics you missed if you bought the Phantom Liberty DLC at Dog Town.

I haven't done that gig yet, but in general I think there are several ways to complete an objective or enter an area if your skill is too low for one of them. I have 20 in tech but only 5 in body, for example (playing netrunner build), and I've noticed that many doors require high tech (even 20, not sure if they scale with level?), and many requiring body 20, but I usually manage to get to the area behind the locked doors I've no skill to open one way or another, taking a longer route. Vents, roof hatches, windows etc.
