I suppose to solve this I would propose that Story based achievements should be removed.
Instead Achievements should be more about a challenge or a grindy objective... rather than simply choosing a particular option in a story dialogue...
Devs are not obligated to provide you with achievements, they are not obligated to show you the hidden ones, and you are not obligated to getting them.
Just play the game to, and I know this is a bizarre concept, have FUN, and not worry about incredibly myopic things like achievements, and worse, their visibility.
I sincerely cannot imagine something lamer than achievement chasing.

Nobody cares what achievements you have, they are solely for your own satisfaction.
