Second heart cybernetic FAILS mission Don't fear the reaper

When doing the final mission you get a game over when activating your second heart cyberware instead of a revive. this is a bug/glitch. Do not try to rationalize this with some boot licking backwards thinking about how "It's supposed to be a suicide mission" then why is that cyberware even in the game?

Must be a recent bug, as it worked great back in 1.XX when i did the secret ending and triggered second heart.

Wait - I thought second heart doesn't exist anymore? As in the cyberware was removed from the game?

Oh, good to know. Gotta check whether my old V still got hers equipped. I thought I'd read they removed it but must have mis-read.

last i checked the secret ending was a you die you die no restarts mission, unless they changed it

No they havent.
But if you have a second heard then the first time your health reaches zero you dont die.

The same, second heart revived V but second later I see credits.

If you're planning to do Don't Fear the Reaper, swap Second Heart out for Blood Pump/similar beforehand.

Yup, that sounds like a bug.

And yeah, Blood Pump does something similar (but won't let you reach 0% health, and thus likely won't trigger this bug), so i guess that's the best work-around for the time being.
