Yea well, sorry to pop your bubble but I have no mods , a good system and the game runs pretty well for me. Never used mods up til now and I run into far less issues than many posters here on the forum. ( both on my old rig and now with my good rig ). The game is not flawless but it runs pretty well.
The game is running in the top one hundred of games played here on Steam which might indicate something as well.
Currently 25000+ gamers currently playing the game.
Hopefully we'll see a hotfix soon.
I've got no mods. Performance has definitely took a hit in the latest patch...
It's weird though, there's this chugging feeling that was never there before. Like everything slows down for a tenth of a second, every second... Even when playing at over 100fps.
Resetting graphics to default seems to have fixed it... Without actually changing anything from my custom profile... Weird and confusing...
Yes it does....................but then these kind of threads have been appearing after EVERY patch the game has put out since launch. Patch comes out..............game is broken......my mods are broken...........what can I do???.........rinse and repeat.
FYI..........the devs have not said the 2.11 patch is the last. So................I would assume that there are more bug patches on the horizon. How many more bug patches will come after the PL expansion was released has not been revealed by the devs.
As for me, it is difficult to see myself as " butthurt " when my game runs pretty well ( not 100% but within my own tolerences ) and I have no real complaints. Actually that is not true....................my only complaint is that there will be no more expansions released for the game. I think there is still uncapped potential for more expansions I will come back and play Cyberpunk again with mods once the patches stop being released .
If it's something widespread that anyone can experience, it'll be fixed and in short order. and if it's something really bad, they usually get a dev to dig up one or two of their scrapped additions to add-in as a bonus, an apology, whether or not it's fun or interesting, cause that's the CDPR Difference!
I mean considering the launch of this game (at least with respect to "that game with the public apology", the stuff the console game buyers went through) to retain any integrity and trust they have to fix it, and they know it.
But they would, anyway. It's both a business ethic and a sense of pride. This is their baby. Their bloody, psychopathic baby holding a black Kendachi monoknife. And you don't abandon your baby.
Now I just fell through the floor and saw NC from underneath. Save is corrupted, even worse: For a second I though I started Starfield instead....
They do a solid job fixing a bulk of bugs but it would be nice if they were more thorough as there are absolute bugs from 2-3 years back that still aren't fixed.
As an example, I just got hit with the new patch by only a single issue, and it isn't due to the patch as this bug has been well known by the community for at least 3 years now... which is weapons and cyberware randomly downgrade to lower tiers (like a Legendary++ becoming a tier 3). Fortunately, only 1 cyberware and two weapons got hit by this but it is quite obnoxious.
Another example is the other two bugs that are still prevalent years later such as the falling through ground (luckily not experienced it but a mere 4x in this playthrough) and the double audio stuck in combat music from Cyberpsycho bug (which now even Joytoys can no longer fix sometimes permanently botching a save if you don't have one from before that point, but odds are you will).
I do agree, though, that they do tend to fix most bugs... Though I find the lack of a fix for one of the most high profile recent issues, Sonic Shock, despite all the vocal complaints and their stating it was a bug not being fixed amusing (then again, I never use it myself so I could care less).
