Damaged Katana

I found a Damaged Katana (Scannable) after following some bloodstains and two bodies in Arasaka Heavy Gear which scanned as "Data Erased"

I did pick up a generic low level Katana though if that was "a reward" it was pretty weak.

Located NW of PInewood Junction (or Charles Bucks Ripperdoc Location) near a bunch of Cargo Containers.

I don't RECALL ever seeing it before. But I forget easily.

It's not a reward, just a hidden quest that works like an easter egg. Katana can be recycled or sold. There is no other use to it.

Well I have no idea what they are referring too. A better desciptor of the Location is behind the Building where the Mox Psycho is (Not an OFFICIAL Cyberpsycho).

Yep. I found it as well. Scannable damaged katana, basic crappy one on the ground, and a blood trail to the 2nd arasaka soldier who said something along the lines of "It wasn't supposed to be this way!" before dying and leaving a datalog convo between him and (presumably) the other corpse about how they were brothers in life, and now they'll be brothers in death. No idea what it's a reference to.

Might be a stretch, but maybe an Overwatch reference with Hanzo and Genji?

Any weapons marked as "Damaged" are just for dismantling , all this is for is a little bit of world-building flavour lore , theres no quest and no greater purpose to it , just a neat little easter egg to find
