HOW TO SOLVE CRASHING AFTER TRYING TO LOAD SAVE AFTER 2.11

If your game is crashing when trying to load a save, deleting your usersettings.json file in appdata>local, will only help until you die or have to reload...you may think it is working BUT if you change the in-game binds after loading the save but it will crash next time you die or load.
The crashing issue is somehow related to input/changing the in-game keybindings...EVEN CHANGING 1 of them will cause this...so to resolve this issue, MAKE SURE ALL IN GAME KEYBINDS ARE ON DEFAULT OR YOU HAVE DELETED YOUR USERSSETTINGS.JSON FILE, THEN re-assign your kb/m via your kb/m's own software (Logitec,RAZER Etc.) until CDPR fixed the in-game key-binds, but honestly...IMO...that file apparently corrupts so much I would just stick with your own kb/m software at this point and just make a profile for the game in your external software and never touch those settings again.

IF YOU PROBLEM IS MOD RELATED THEN SEEK HELP VIA THIS DISCORD OR WAIT FOR THAT MOD TO BE UPDATED. I am currently only using mods that rely only on constantly updated core mods (total of 10) so your mileage may very...but this solution may be why your game keeps crashing right now when loading. Hope it helps.

yeah changing keybinds fixed it for me. I changed them back afterwards and its working fine. No clue if its going to work next time I launch though

It most likely won't I again would advise all PC players to use external key mapping not in-game. Its the only solution that I have confirmed with myself and others to be working. CDPR broke something big here.

I have changed my bindings and the game never crashes for me, could it also be in combination with a mod for you?

It was 100% limited to rebinding inputs via the in-game menu. You may have posted that after loading a save thinking it worked and then re-doing inputs. Several people are having this exact same issue.

My game crashes when the news is loading, right at the loading bar. I already restored it to default and deleted the userhints, but it didn't solve the problem.

My issue seems to be crashing after an hour or so of play. This never happened before 2.11, and I've checked my rig to make sure nothing on my end is the culprit, but it all checks out - and I haven't changed any bindings at all, which seemed to be the trigger for most folks...

If game crashes for you when you load a save or start a new game - check your Key Bindings settings and make sure none of the actions are set to MB4 or MB5 (or any other additional mouse button). If any of the actions are set to this buttons - change this keybind to smth else, as that's exactly what crashes the game.

For easier solution - just go into Key Bindings settings and reset them to Defaults and game will no longer crash.

This issue isn't limited to mouse buttons. Rebinding the dash key to anything will cause the crash.

Does anyone know if CDPR is aware of this bug, its really a pain to have to change your muscle memory that some of us have had for months or even years, plus IMO the default keys arent great
