Go into your appdata folder and then go to local and delete the folder called CD Projekt Red. Launch the game and it should work.

Ok, so it worked, until it didn't work. I deleted the file and launch the game. I noticed all my settings where gone because of the fresh re-installement and i deleted the CD Project Red folder.
So I strated remaping etc...
I played ly 5 min and made a mistake in game. Had to load a save. The game simply crashed. Now, even if I delete again the folder it's not working anymore.

This is a very strange bug. But it seems fixable with a hotfix I guess. Devs, are you seeing this ? Do you have intel to provide please ?

Crashes again if you remap keys. return them to default and it works... until they release a hotfix for this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

The thing causin the crash for me was to bind the dash function to my mouse. The rest is ok. I got the horn in the car on mouse button 4 and it doesn't crash.
Hope it will help someone and the dev to hotfix

Thank you so much! I spent over an hour trying many apparent fixes for this problem, from reinstalling, taking all mods out and trying to start a new vanilla game, verifying, changing permissions etc... your tip is the only one that worked!
