Steam deck controls bugged

R3 doing melee and dodge with movement. B doing stealth and dodge with movement. L1 doing scan and melee with rapid clicks. And this does not change with changes to the controls menu. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? Broken patch...

Yeah this feels kinda awful not gonna lie. Accidentally dodging when you want to crouch. The B button is assigned to 3 styles of movement. Crouching, sliding and dodging.

I was just looking for something about this, it's super not fun. Is a forced slide after you dash intentional? Cuz if it is, it sucks.

Clearly bugged, not really playable like that. I guess we're getting a patch 2.12 soon.

Yeah, been getting a lot of my game time with the Steam Deck and now it is unplayable. No way to manually change the control scheme. I can no longer move to a crouch like with the Alternative control scheme. If I have any stick movement I dive at someones feet. Conversely, if I try to dash I move to a crouch and cripple my movement. Since both crouch and dash are currently bugged and bound together I can't even change my inputs to fix it via the steam controller interface.

Hey, i had the same problem but after changing the controller settings and reloading the game, it works as usual now on steam deck. I dont know if this will work for everyone or i was just lucky, but you can try

i found a workaround that seems replicatable, tap the touchscreen when in game. then use the joysticks and it seems to revert the controls. just dont go back to the controls in the menu and it seems to stick. hopefully this helps people until the patch is out

I had been super frustrated with the controls since the last patch but this got me going again
