Does anyone know a temporary fix for the weapons showing up in cutscenes?

The 2.1 version currently has a bug with some weapons, the Mantis Blade being one of them, that makes them show up as armed when you're in cutscenes where V's whole model shows up, like in bathroom mirrors. You guys might have noticed it, V holding a gun in a weird way while leaning on the counter. Thing is, if you have the Mantis Blade implant, this bug gets so much worse because the armed blades are quite big and they can get in the way.

The real problem for me is, I'am currently at the end of the game, doing ending missions and stuff, and everytime my V shows up, it has it's armed Mantis Blade arms on top of my character's normal arms. So basicly, 4 arms, 20 fingers and 2 blades. It can get pretty distracting and when I was doing my first ending, it kinda broke the immersion a bit. Wasn't that much of a boomer, I still had a good time with the quest (Love this game), but now I kinda wanna get this fixed before I do the other endings.

I know this bug is actually known by pretty much everyone by now, but do we have any information on when we are getting a hotfix for this? Or is there a mod that I can use that fixes this, until CDPR adresses it? Like that one mod that fixes the long blade finishers never happening lol.

I do. Go to somewhere you can draw your weapon and pull out your fists. It tracks the very last weapon you had drawn out even if you un-equip everything.

Oh, thats actually a good tip for pretty much every weapon.
But I guess in my case its not doable since I can't remove my Mantis Blade implant on the go.

But I guess I can use this to make a smaller weapon like a knife show up instead of the Mantis Blade so it doesn't block everything lol. Still gonna wait to see if there are other alternatives, but thanks, its definitely helpful.

You can always pull out your fists. Are you on a KB&M or controller?

You can always pull out your fists. Are you on a KB&M or controller?

I did not know I could lol. Used to press 4 to equip fists, but after installing a Mantis Blade, 4 always equips it instead.

You can pull out your fists if you hold ALT. It should pull up your equip wheel and one option should be your fists. If it's not there un-equip one weapon and then draw that slot on the wheel.

The fists slot are replaced by the Mantis Blade, and trying to "equip" an empty slot does nothing for me

Make sure you're in a location that lets you draw weapons. But other then that I ain't sure what else you can do.

I did. There is no option to draw only the arms.
But still, used your tip to go through the cutscene using a small knife. Made it more bearable, thank you.

Only now I realized that the icon for the Mantis Blade had arrows next to it, meaning that I could cycle through the equipped item using Q and E. That way I could indeed equip the fists even with the implant. Thanks again.
