killing in the name is a baaaaad mission holy hell
maybe its cuz im on hard and the RNG but you can straight up get multiple lines of code in a row where NONE of the initial keys you need are there. thats pretty damn stupid. so youll just have to keep jacking out until you actually get them. to top it all off this mini game is boring.

You can skip the initial key as long as your next one is correct. You can also repeat the last correct key and then move on instead of breaking a sequence.

It's such a good source of eddies though. Crafting those quick hacks you get from those mini-games adds up pretty quickly.

There was a couple apps in the Googleplay/Crapple app stores that could solve the mini game for you. Some are outdated and don't work anymore though. Just show the mini game screen to your phone camera, and viola, It tries to solve it.

My V being a pathological klepper I've made sure sure I hack every access point I come across this 2nd playthrough & that's made me pretty good at spotting the best pattern to use in the hacking minigame & acing most of them really fast.

First playthrough I found this gig a complete pain in the arse (& the conclusion to the gig triggered me hard after all the hours of BS I went thru :D) because I hadn't hacked a lot of access points & was crap at the minigame. But I did it last night & got through really quickly compared to first time (maybe 30 minutes including all the running around).

Practise makes perfect with this one.

Also what @n0mad23 said.

^This is what I usually resort to if I find no answers at all in the initial row. Sadly, devs really legit screwed up because there are actual results that have no answer at all due to a lack of connecting adjacent row swaps for some key requirements. It is fairly rare, but not so rare it isn't an issue. A few times I've even seen key requirements that had only 1-2 of that specific key on the entire grid but then the one you have to match it from takes at least 2 jumps minimal meaning it will never work in a combination.

Like others, I hack every point I come across. That said, I'm bummed its extremely unrewarding. Honestly, its more efficient time wise to simply straight up buy hacks needed and in terms of rewards (all rewards, period, combined) the payout is excessively poor. Seems the system didn't get tuned up to compensate after the mega nerf to hack sell price that occurred with 2.0 before I started playing. It does give exp at least but meh.
