Sweet dreams gear retrieval issue

I tried doing the "Sweet Dreams" side mission, but when I get to the point where I can retrieve my gear, my weapons glitch out. Either the weapon model appears floating to the right of my character, or the weapons cycle incredibly fast without being able to be fired.

I tried reloading the game multiple times from before retrieving the equipment from the locker, but I always got the same issue.


Edit: Started mashing buttons, including the health and grenade ones. After a while, the weapons appear to have started behaving normally again.
