The eddies have nothing to do with difficulty. Are you finding the enemy's trivial? If so up the difficulty.

Upping the difficulty isn't going to change how much money you get.

I play on very hard and that is a huge step up from hard difficulty, so I would expect that normal difficulty is going to be extremely easy.

entirely up to you..............you can always change it to hard and play for a bit and then change it back without any issues.

If you kill ennemies too fast, yes go hard mode.

Yeah, what does cash have to do with difficulty? That's just a case of grinding enough loot off enemies. Whether they're hard to kill or not.

I think it's super easy to become OP in this game, even on very hard difficulties. I use mods to set enemy damage even higher.

I have to agree that Eddies aren't a criterium for difficulty (also 70k isnt much).

But I'd say if you have a halfway decent build, and are a halfway decent gamer, then normal gets pretty easy after ~lvl 10.

About 3 hours into my first playthrough I changed from normal to hard. That was using white weapons.

Shame on me! I did play on Cyberpunk on easy because so many games to play and so little time to play them.
(No, I feel no shame in fact.)

Even Hard mode is not hard unfortunately...

70k eddies is really not even much. once you start buying cyberware upgrades and vehicles eddies will spend FAST. and like everyone else said difficulty changes combat not the amount of eddies you find.

Normal is fun, but too easy Hard is fun, more rewarding, actually have to pay attention to health at level 60 in a group of enemies, but could require some fine tuning of your build/fighting style. We dont know how good you are at the game and your specific fighting style... in my opinion your question "should I up difficulty to hard?" while nice to have reason to chat with strangers... is pointless because you could have clicked once and tried it for yourself with ZERO consequences while laying down safe(quick saves) "F5". Lastly, if you dont agree with my "Kinda pointless" opinion... then how do you know you will agree with anyones opinion on "moving up the difficulty to hard?", without forming your own opinion. ;) You obviously want to try Hard, otherwise you wouldnt ask... so cut to the chase and DO IT! :p

Normal is Easy difficulty thease days (and "easy" is now game-journo kiddy pool mode).

Hard is the new normal, and anything above hard is for the Fromsoft fans.

normal mode is way too easy

In my experience, the difficulty levels only increase the threshold at which V is a deity.

Normal is around level 20 or so, Hard about 25 and very hard 30.
