"Shoot to thrill" quest bugged again?

I know this one used to have a bug where it refused to start even when you get ready and aim down the sights, but I was seeing something different.

In a previous playthrough I had no problem getting 100/100 after a try or two, but now I can barely get to 15 because my shots are going through the targets. Its like when they come down theres some lag before they become able to register damage to be counted. I tried a few different guns and it doesn't seem to matter.

Anyone else seeing this? I don't know why I focused on it but I wanted to be 1st place again lol.

Done that quest numerous times with no bugs.

I had no issue with quest using the dying light iconic.

I've done this quest probably 20 times now and I've never had this issue either. But it does it consistently now, I reloaded my saves a few times to try again and it kept doing the same thing.

Potentially your ssd or hdd, wherever you have the game installed, is on the way out?

Its a brand new 4TB SN850X, so I doubt it. Nothing else is having a problem, only this quest. Like its very obvious the bullet tracers are going through the targets while they move, it seems like I can only hit them 1 out of 3-4 shots.

Get a M-76 Omaha, Lizzie or Death and Taxes. Worked for me.
