But, In my opinion they can add Third Person Cutscenes for the next Cyberpunk games. Just the way they wanted to add it to Cyberpunk 2077. It would feel good to see our characters more often in the game and not just in mirrors.
As one said - there are no reflections; hell, the mirrors need to be turned on. So your character is only partially rendering (as you can look down and see yourself); however then driving allows both? Granted driving is quite different in both, so you know it was added vs just happened - so seems like an odd line in the sand.
Additionally - any game that lets you spend more than 2 minutes making a toon should let you see them I feel (even just cut-scenes is fine - but here those are first person too). Though - allowing one to customize genitalia you basically will never see also makes me think they just never got around to everything or where unsure where to land fully by the time the game released.
May not use it much - but I would flip between them. Was just looking for a mod to enable 3rd person in this yesterday after starting to get back into it because I got a neat vibe going on my outfit I gotta basically pause to see xD
Walkin' around: Optional 1st or 3rd Person
No reason whatsoever: 2nd Person [Good luck with that.]
With the emphasis that CP2077 puts on character customization and clothes, the fact you can't go into 3rd person is just plain dumb and it has hampered my enjoyment of the game since day one. Even still I would play the game in 1st person most of the time, especially in combat, but 3rd person view for exploration and walking around is what I prefer. This is exactly how I play Bethesda RPGs.
