dogtown is alright, and new gigs are fine too, some have huge levels with multiple paths, which is always appreciated
the story is good, and some cutscenes/events are great fanwank service
but I mean, if you do not feel immediate need for more content, it's fine to wait for the winter sale next week, or even skip it
I did refund the game when it first came out, watching youtube video's showing all the bugs back then influenced my decision back then
- Completing the first mission gives you a core that you can add and remove from weapons to do some interesting stuff
- Airdrops are decent combat with some good loot, including the best pistol in the game, the Taigan
- Some fun side quests
On my second playthrough, think I'll be skipping the main phantom liberty story line this time around.
Phantom Liberty is the most fun I've had in a game in months. It had me invested in the outcome from the beginning to the end. I loved every moment in Dogtown, including all the gigs.
I can't wait to play through the main campaign. The game is great now.
I actually started a new game specifically to play the DLC and if you mix in Phantom Liberty with the main campaign the flow of the game gets so much better.
The quests are top quality and new zone is great fun to explore.
