Now it is almost impossible to control and even slightly tapping the stick too far in either direction results in it swerving completely out of control. Another thing CDPR have utterly ruined with their updates.
I'm presently trying to adapt to the Javelin, which I used to dislike for being hard to turn, but the fact that it doesn't overturn is working in its favour so far.
And yeah, I like Nomad cars.
As usual the bikes are best for simply getting about... but I have to use cars sometimes as bikes don't fare well in high-speed collisions. I've flatlined at least twice now by trying to play chicken with cars while on a bike.
I can't wait to unlock the Beast again... The Beast used to be absolutely the best for playing chicken (or just driving on the left side of the road like a proper Brit).
The car that I drove around the most was the Herrera Outlaw "Weiler". It had the best handling of the cars that I drove, at least I thought so. It had a decent speed and it has a slick appearance. I also couldn't argue with free.
I really like that bike. It's reasonably fast and it handles pretty good. I found it especially fun riding it in-between cars at top speed.
Most Type 66 quadra variants seemed fairly solid on that front.
I am sad to hear the coyote I ignore went from "This is nice, but I want something better for the STREETS" to "'fixed' to death"
Also yeah when the first time you buy an expensive super sport car it literally flips over onto it's back instantly just pressing W and S at the same time as the physics engine freaks out. The Jav and other type 66 variants having airquote "Slower turning" means it only cartoon level oversteers sometimes, and I can touch tap the keyboard to weave it between a minivan and a cop car at speed on a straight two lane.
I expect with "totally immersive honest" attacks bikes might end up less popular in some case even with the perks to not take personal damage in a ride.
Not because cars can have built in machineguns though, that is only useful if you are attacked in the middle of nowhere instead of "You shot your car guns attacking gangers. Thus making the cops angry you used your car guns" (even firing them at a wall to see if they work can piss off the cops).
The new for free "Hoon" is basically an early Javalina clone complete with guns, though you are most likely to see it then forget about it because you drive past it while chasing one of the delamane cabs, even if you get the quest marker for it
Scorp's dirt bike is even better IMHO, it just feels so planted,
For an actual car the Del cab is fairly slow but maybe that's why the rear tires seem less given to breaking loose compared to others I've tried.
