Tiny lines/dots on npc's necks
Greetings! I have noticed that there are some black lines that appear on npc's necks. Its nothing gamebreaking, but its annoying. Anyone got any idea if there is any fix for that?
Here's a link with an example. I have highlighted with a blue circle https://ibb.co/ZhLnDDV

That's a neck-seam and some games hide it well, some do not.

Could try maybe some body mod to see if they hide it better than CDPR does, but in reality it is a completely normal thing to see in most games.

You could also try sending CDPR a bug report about it, but I honestly doubt they'll do anything about it, especially after having some major issues with the neck already in the past.

Thanks for the info. I will probably send a bug report about it, but I guess I can live with that whether it gets fixed or not.

In games like this, very few characters will have their own unique model. The body and head are actually two entirely unconnected models held together with clever rigging and animation magic. Whether you see the seams at all can depend on your graphics settings and your GPU itself as those models have very narrow tolerances for rendering imprecision to maintain the perfect illusion that it's one continuous model.

Yeah, I understand that. My gpu is a 3060 12gb. I also have the latest nvidia drivers installed. I have everything at max, without the path tracing

you could try grabbing the 2k/4k mods for some of the main characters from this user's profile

I'm currently using most of their mods in the 2k version, and before i started using Jackie2k, i noticed the line on the back of his neck (mostly in the Delamain) but i haven't see it since i started using the upscale

(i have a 1660 normal, so it's easy to say, i don't have any extra bells n whistles to make me miss the seams lol)
