Yes imo XESS is way better and clearer. Its even better than original resolution on my TV. Eliminated every edges and "shaking lines".

Well yes FSR is inferior to DLSS - the good part about FSR is that its available to all GPUs, where as DLSS is only for Nvidia cards.

Maybe when CDPR implement FSR 3 (along with FSR Frame-Generation) in a future update it'll look, and perform better.

Depends on which setting and which resolution you are using if you are running at 4k using quality mode I think it looks really good 1440p quality it looks ok and 1080p looks pretty bad, can also try turning up the sharpness as well try around 75 sharpness.

I pushed FSR's sharpness to 0.80 and I don't see any difference between the two. At least there's no difference I would notice without squinting at side-by-side screenshots.

Also keep in mind that XeSS's highest preset ("Ultra Quality") renders at a higher resolution and does less upscaling than FSR's highest preset ("Quality").

both dlss and fsr look horrible, but that's the trade, it's better than what you had but it's still just a fake out for not spending 3k on a card. I tried it in trade for ultra on a 1080ti and i couldn't handle it, so much worse than just maxing it all out, dropping one or two params and leaving dlss off.

The game uses FSR 2.1, not 2.2 which atleast improved the issues with blurriness and ghosting. Thankfully though it's on the list of games to receive FSR 3; just gotta wait.

Either use the FSR 2.2 mod or use XeSS until then.
