Bench results wrong?
After 2.1 it seems my benchmark results are inaccurate. The final average fps is showing lower than any fps I actually was getting durring the benchmark itself.

Is it bugged?

For example if you're getting between 90-120fps durring bench but it says 87fps average at the end.

Benchmark works fine for me, reporting the correct average fps (it correlates to presentmon pretty closely), but it's useless as real-game perf can drop by factor 3 in some situations (and it's not uncommon).

Seems the same before and after the patch. Well except a slight increase in FPS being +1.2% now if i recall when using the benchmark. I did do a before and after comparison. I do monitor fps with msiafterburner while it's benching and they do match up.

Thinking about it and watching it it's probably right. It's just slightly above average in the 1st 1/4, high in the middle, and quite low in the last 1/4. So ya it's pretty close.

Yeah I have the same thing happening. The results screen displays lower numbers than the counter shows during the benchmark sequence.

It seems that the benchmark counts the blank frames at the start and it skews the average.

Ya that's possible that would mean 144fps is actually 151fps for example. I'd have to watch it more closely to say if i agree or not. But sure that could be it. Computers tend to start with 0

IIRC Those blank frames run at lower frame rates than the rest of the benchmark according to RTSS overlay (I'm not at my PC but can verify later). I'm assuming it's still loading all assets at the time.
They don't count as 0 otherwise that'd end up showing as the low count at the end of the benchmark.

When I ran this pass after the 2.1 patch the lowest I observed being measured by the in game counter was 62 as it pans across in front of the bar towards the pool table, however results show a low in the upper 50's.

So long as it's consistent to where i can compare before/after new driver install or patch i'm ok with it. Lot of these benchmarks aren't perfect. Arg i need some java

Exactly, that's all that matters really, that it remains consistent between revisions to ensure results are accurate.

it's a bug, I have native + dlaa, and it breaks if you use ray reconstruction with native res, so you can keep your yikes to yourself
