Apartments?
What's the point of owning apartments (other than RP)?

I just have the starting one and I never go there. It's not like the game has a real sleep system. Nor do you need it for crafting.

Gameplay wise you get an experience buff for skills each time you sleep. You can also get some other minor buffs for showering or drinking coffee.

Primarily though it is for immersion. Having a place to call home in such a vast city feels nice and cozy ^^

Well, the game doesnt FORCE you to sleep (and I think thats fine, not everyone is into immersion/role-playing. There are a lot of people who complained that you NEED to wash yourself in KCD.)

I for my self go to one of my apprtments every single day. I start my games there, I end them there.

I sleep there (gives a nice buff). I shower there (gives a nice buff). I drink my coffee there (gives a nice buff).

I maintain and sort my equippment (my stash is there).
I craft there .
I hang out there, listen to music, plan my next steps, and nowadays I chill with Panam.

Having a home, a place to rest, is imho crucial for the immersion.

I wanted to own Garry's home, but no, could not get it. But if I could own a house irl like Corp Plaza....... glad I could in the game

So it works like Well Rested in Fallout? Missed that entirely, not that the game doesn't throw points at me plenty fast.
