there are perks that slow down the trace. Currently doing a play thru with a netrunner build and it is doing well ( level 60 with a netrunning ability of 60 ) . Yes, you are not a death machine on legs clearing gigs without ever being seen. But it is still a viable build.
Sonic Shock is currently not working, CDPR are aware and are working on a fix (Shout out to CrimsonRider, BTW).
You can use a tier 4 Memory Wipe -which does still work as intended - in place (at higher RAM cost) of Sonic Shock, or you can install redscript and this mod:

Edit: Netrunner level 60 progression perk is still broken, despite being labeled as fixed in patch notes.
Post 2.0 Is more like sneaky prankster among enemies that can kill you in moments notice.
And quite frankly, that's for the best.
