1) Shut the game down completely and unplug controller
2)Open steam and go to steams settings and disable/turn off steam controller input
3)Go to my library and right click on cyberpunk,go to controller setting and disable/turn off input setting here also
4)Shut down steam completely
5)Then I launched Cyberpunk via my desktop short cut
6)Once the game is loaded and you are in the main menu, plug in controller. It has to be wired for all features
7)Now go to settings in the start menu and go to accessibility feature and when you scroll down you will now see setting that you can adjust for the ps5 controller. You can turn on/off haptics, adaptive triggers, etc.
8)Start the game and you should notice that all the inputs are now correct and if you hop in a vehicle quick you notice that there are now haptics in the triggers. Pretty awesome.
So basically what I did was turn off all controller input setting on steam bc if not it will override the actual game settings and screw things up. They should definitely make it easier though bc it took way too long to get it right. Hope this helps someone else avoid my struggles. Have fun
Controller is different than haptic feedback vibration. Do you get that too?
