2.1 Broke my controls and its becoming unplayable

it seems a lot of the controls are now hardcoded and you can't even leave any keys unbinded in the settings, but the thing is there are A LOT keybinds missing and you can't rebind them at all because they are not included in the settings. I've seen footage on YouTube, all of them works fine but its all broken on my end.

Things that broke that I've experienced it so far:
-Can't select contacts on the Phone
-Can't select vehicles (I still can bring the menu up)
-Can't switch Radio FMs
-Can't Turn off Radio
-Can't open up Radio when on foot
-Can't adjust Radio volume (on Radio menu not on Sound Setting)
-Can't mark Favorite items
-Can't disassemble items
-Every Metro features (I can't even exit the Metro so I'm stuck on infinite train ride)

My issue is the controller sticks will not function in-game, no matter the deadzone settings. I'm playing via RemotePlay from my PC to the steamdeck, with a bluetooth controller (ps4) I know i'm an edge case, but it's unplayable in this setup. Something is up between the game and Remoteplay/Steamdeck

It happened to me too. I tried fixing it using the user input files to get my keybinds right, but even that doesn't work. I keybind radio to capsLock, still can't use it, use the default key for it (z) doesn't work either, and if I take the Metro I gotta reload the last save or I'll be stuck forever, since I cant do anything, not even exiting. I hope they get a patch done soon

Yeah I hope so, I cant finish a Mission because I can't send text to Takemura lmao. it's kinda mindboggling that they had to mess with the control scheme just to ship minor features such as Radio and Metro system

I experience similar issues as @nonbiri, on keyboard, on a fresh save. Just FYI, I installed 2k texture mods for some on the NPCs, but the problem persists even after uninstalling the textures... that is why I am posting here.

EDIT: The usual "file validation" on Steam did not help either.
