Look to bright side, it's free content, accept and enjoy (or not).
The Metro mod might be better actually
All in all I had what I was waiting for, an instance dedicated to observation and atmosphere to enjoy the city from a different perspective.
Official :
+ Lively NPC in cart
+ Beautiful cart
+ map system
+ Metro announcement
Community :
+ walk on station (instanced)
+ switching seat (so you can enjoy the view on both side of wagon, but not animated, teleporting)
+ waiting a little bit for the desired cart (yes i like waiting, i find it immersive, especially since you have to check which cart is coming)
+ 3rd person view
This said the modder did an incredible job.
could we maybe remain realistic and not complain over what is already feature creep?
The game as a whole is a great case study as to why feature creep should be avoided (I am not saying it is a bad game, but there are alot of unecessary things which sucked up ressources that should have gone to testing bug fixing and fleshing out existing core features instead..) so them throwing even more in here ..
It's nice that the world gets more and more "lived in" but the foundation needs to be rock solid if you want to do something like that and as much as I like the game, the foundation isn't "rock solid". See 108579342342989 complaint threads ever since the new patch launched for reference.
As if you dont know what you want.
I was saying the same thing just maybe not put in words cause for me it's common sense when you implement something that is not really fun or well implemented, its better to leave it out.
Who knows, maybe you are the one overreacting, maybe this mod did cost them little to nothing, maybe the original mod designer got payed 1000$ bugs to finetune it for them and they just loaded it into their game eazy peazy.
I was literally trying to say that the mod was not necessary in the patch if its not better than the community mod. Maybe you misread my post but no problem.
And I still miss the interactions between me and npcs, npcs between npcs, which decades ago games could do ie most widely known and done best GTA...
The npcs could've attacked eachother if they crash their cars, the trauma team could've come and take away the hurt, I could've emote&troll npcs and walk all over the metro system... :/ I loved Watch Dog(s) the most tho. XD
Not sure where murder everyone came from, I just want an immersive experience
Idk, first iteration makes it sound like there will be more iterations
