They ruined the pyromania explosive weapons build
Just tested it on my character

Pyromania now specifically states GRENADES and Launchers not explosives and none of the exploding weapons proc it anymore.

No LMG with firecracker, no dezerter, nothing.

Legit ruined one of the most fun builds I've found.

Well, the more that the players share their play data, the more that they will nerf the game. Just saying. Granted, it's probably gonna happen regardless, but the data is what their monitoring.

This legit sucks.

They nerfed my weapons, my sandevistan, the armor from most of the cyberware I use, the microgenerator, and the Axolotol.

They pretty much nerfed every damn thing I use.

Thats actually funny, now that I think about it I use literally all of those things too. I swear they looked at our builds and was like NO FUN FOR YOU. As soon as somebody makes a mod to change Pyromania back I want it. if it will ever exist, i feel like some modder may feel the same way.

Yeah explanation for that is the pyromania stacking is REALLY strange with guns.

So only a few specific weapons (in the old patch) could actually do it.

Comrade's hammer, Hypercritical, Dezerter, Bald Eagle are the only guns I can think of.
On top of that any gun that stated explosive rounds AND used the firecracker could do it too, but you needed BOTH if you used one or the other it would still not work.

Which made this strange situation where it couldn't be stacked with a lot of stuff that should have done it.

Fun fact, unless they fixed it, most of the grenades can't even trigger pyromania because they don't count as explosions. Some of the grenades that stack it, won't benefit from it and some of the grenades that benefit from it didn't stack it, and to take it a notch further most of the boosts said explosions but the only thing that actually dealt more damage were grenades. It didn't even work on the Launch system so this might just be them fixing the perk as it was always intended to work on grenades.

That being said I hope they fixed it so it at least works on the Launch system, because previously it would stack pyromania but it didn't get a damage bonus even with Doom launcher.

The thing that makes no sense is that the firecracker mod was JUST added with the phantom liberty expansion and since they added pyromania in the 2.0 update alongside the firecracker mod that they were MEANT to be used together and now firecracker is just outright useless.
