The error code you mentioned, “system thread exception not handled”, is often associated with outdated or incompatible drivers. This error can occur when a system thread generates an exception that the error handler did not catch6. It’s possible that one of your mods, or even a combination of them, is causing this issue.
Regarding the NVIDIA driver 546.33, there have been reports of issues such as stuttering, display problems, and even BSODs. Rolling back to a previous version of the driver, as you’ve done, can sometimes resolve these issues.
To troubleshoot this issue, you might want to try the following steps:
Update your mods: Make sure all your mods are up to date. Outdated mods might trigger BSOD errors.
Disable mods one by one: This can help you identify if a specific mod is causing the issue.
Check for driver updates: Ensure that all your drivers, not just your graphics driver, are up to date.
Check the error log: The error log can give you more information about which driver or system file might be causing the issue.
Remember to always create a restore point before making any major changes to your system. This will allow you to revert your system back to a working state if something goes wrong. If the problem persists, you may want to consider seeking help from a professional or a dedicated community for modding Cyberpunk. They might be able to provide more specific assistance based on their experiences with the same mods. Good luck!
Which means corrupt drivers as I beleive . Strange , since I used DDU to remove the last driver and installed the last one which worked like a charm.
First one.
It should NOT, the whole point of abstraction layers is that your ring 0 kernel stuff is isolated from your end user code, but that doesn't mean every system driver especially 3rd party ones, are behaving like it should, is near-bulletproof 98% debugged medical-grade code.
I've downgraded to a 535 then to a 525 series, both for performance and stability. Never got BSOD but even Cy77 flatlining is annoying enough...
I turned off Ray tracing sun shadows and everything is perfect . I suffered huge fps dips and after 10 min gameplay it dropped from a stable 70fps to 30-40 fps till my game would crash
with that on.
I tested it by directly exiting to menu and entering the game fast till my game always crashes.
( I beleive I got the blue screen this way tho)
So, why?
The game has a huge optimization problem/ bug ( not talking about memory leak now) where if you go into menu screens like inventory ,map etc... when you "load" back to the game you constantly killing your fps BECAUSE the game regenerating sun shadows , world lighting all the time you open up a menu and get back to the game.
Strange , but I can finally enjoy the game !
...and I hope one day , they will fix the f*cking stutter/fps drop when entering and exiting menus.
( I got this info from a reddot post and I did thank him ! )
Cheers guys!
