Developers of any game are under no obligation to ensure mods continue to function after a game update, even if that game is mod friendly.

It's possible to choose to not auto-update and keep mods from breaking.

IMO better than Bethesda, CDPR want's to fix it themselves and do right by it unlike Bethesda who leaves pretty much everything to the paying player to fix. On a different note though, CDPR has been rather fabulous about the modding side. There are CDPR employee(s) in different modding discords answering questions about the functions of the game and helping modders get their projects working new and old.

yea.......must be a terrible thing for a company to put out updates in an effort to fix/improve their game. companies like this should be banned from such things. ( facepalm )

companies are under no obligation or are responsible for 3rd party mods. The only person responsible is the gamer that uses them....in this case YOU.
