Every few seconds, the mouse input gets eaten, then after a second or so, the input gets applied instantly. Like:
I move the mouse left, the view goes left.
I continue to move the mouse left, the view stops for a second.
I continue to move the mouse left, the view snaps to where it should be if it had moved with the mouse to begin with.
There is no FPS drop, everything around me moves at a good smooth speed just like normal. There is no visual stuttering or any other effects. The mouse input is the ONLY thing affected.
And here's the kicker: The mouse cursor in windows is affected exactly the same way if I'm alt+tabbed!
Some other characteristics of the bug:
It doesn't do it everywhere, some parts are affected more than others. I did three mini gigs without problem in the city. I move to another part of the city, the lag starts.
It behaves exactly the same whether I've been in-game for a while, or start the game fresh. Restarting the computer changes nothing.
I play a lot of different games, and I've never experienced this bug in any other game, Cyberpunk 2077 is the only game where this appears.
The game worked fine a year or so ago when I played it originally.
I have a wireless mouse, but it behaves exactly the same even if I use the mouse connected by cable.
With this bug, the game is completely unplayable.
