I'm 85 and was a graphic artist, but now my hand coordination is less than 100%.
Sometimes I can barely write my name. LOL
And not trying to drive way faster than all the other traffic.
I had a few other cars turn right in front of me and a couple of rear-enders where I didn't break in time but I didn't lose it going around corners and changing lanes. Setting the sensitivity to 1 makes the taps on the turn keys make smaller corrections not how long it takes to do it. I found that small lane correction take one or two quick taps of the turn keys.
You don't have to go down the road zinging back and forth, you can align with the lane and there is still no problem turning tight enough to get around any corners. The main problem was holding the key down, keep tapping
The other thing that I found hard to do was not watching your car all the time, you need to watch ahead of you and anticipate what's coming.
I drove the Porsche around the city with only a few accidents all at night.
I'm interested to see if driving during the day is easier.
But anyway, if you are having problems try setting sensitivity to 1 and the slack to zero and then give yourself a half hour to get used to it and see if it doesn't get easier.
I'm going to spend another hour and then start switching from can to car.
It's kind of fun once you start getting used to it.
It isn't about skill, it is about a lack of polish on alternatives. I have been seeing more and more people lament changes to the coyote making it harder to drive with KB+M than it used to be, and the fact the Jav had easier "♥♥♥♥ it taking this 90 degree street cornet at speed" handling than the coyote was why I liked it in the first place...
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with your sensitivity settings is still blaming yourself for an underlying issue solved by "Or use the cars that don't have ♥♥♥♥ handling for KB+M" without having to mess with settings and hope for the best.
This may actually be the problem you are having. Before 2.0 it was best to set sensitivity to 0 for kb&m but after 2.0 steering sensitivity seems to control under/oversteer. I set mine to 60 now. Give it a shot.
I'm going to spend one more session practicing and then get back to the plot.
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!
