I think they got rid of any buffer related perks except for the "-1 to how long the hack sequence is (minimum of 2)"
Double checking listings of what grinding netrunner gets you, none of that adds to the buffer anymore either. Int claims to only give +ram every 4 points.
So while I am also spoiled by having a huge buffer in the late game with an orange deck... It does leave you wondering "Okay where did the rest of the buffer come from?" Unlisted default value +4 from decks?
With how much should be obvious full math is obscured by either lazyness or design, I can't blame people who have already beaten the game before asking "Okay why the ♥♥♥♥ does my infamous Netdiver iconic deck only have the same +4 buffer as my rippler?"
Maybe because they need a strong minimum buffer to stop the DLC airdrops from rolling unwinnable (for every "wow all 4 corners is solution? EZ" is a rat maze I need to waste a few clicks on filler first), but can't give more without breaking their hacker UI?
Raising Tier raises buffer and max ram, perks and int also raise max ram.
