That's odd I fully expected you to say a different gun. This might be a bug. For some reason your game has flagged it as a quest item. You shouldn't sell Iconics and you can't disassemble them but you should be able to stash them if they don't have the exclamation mark. Maybe reloading a save to before grabbing it will fix it. Otherwise report it to CDPR and they might fix it in the next patch.
I wouldn't say a bunch of people, since I have never had this bug in over 1k hours of playtime and 8 playthroughs. To answer your question about the Cyberpsychos. I'm pretty sure you have to get nearby them for them to pop up on your map. But I could be wrong.
They aren't the same. That Lexington can be modded, if you intend to use it, don't mod it until you have Tier 5 mods and you have it upgraded to Tier 5.
It's not supposed to me marked for a mission after you get it. That's a bug.
Probably because it's not game breaking. You end up with a very light weight pistol stuck in your inventory. However I did just think of a way that you might be able to stash it. Upgrade it to the next tier and it might remove that exclamation mark and let you stash it.
