Should I finish the game before playing DLC?

I still didn't finish the main game (I only have to finish Jonny's quest line and the main one at this point) and now got the DLC, should I first finish the main story, or should I play the dlc before finishing the main story?

Yes, but not all - I found out the one of the mission from Phantom Liberty Ball's to the Wall has a alternative outcome if all of Panam's mission's are completed

Alright, I basically just have to finish Johnny's story line and the main quest line. So I think I already finished Panam's missions.

DLC Story is set before base game ending in the timeline.
So u can play the dlc missions during base game as soon as the game leads u to enter Dogtown.

Thank you! I guess Hanako will have to wait even longer then. It is a bit agonizing not to know how it ends yet, but at the same time I don't really want the game to end either lol. So it will be great to play the dlc first.

There are quite a few unique endings. For example dlc has 2 completely different ending paths with 2 endings each.
And in half of them Hanako no longer matters.

Hmmm, so I guess, in theory, I could just end the game the classic way first and then just load the save before the end of no return to try out the other endings. Didn't even know there where different endings. Guess I'll just follow my instincts or something.

If your PC is very good yes.
I personally don't like how laggy the DLC is. I loved the main game but the FPS in the DLC is pretty bad

Get near late game before diving in so the main and base game aren't clashing. I'm ignoring the last mission with Adam Smasher and doing Phantom Liberty. Also don't sleep on the green gig missions. I went from being dirt poor with only 4k after upgrading my cyber parts and tiers back to 132k like an hour later lol :)

Don rush the ending, play PL first. Going for an ending will ruin the timeline.

I noticed a drop in fps in dogtown too and my pc is very good. but i have all settings maxed out and it not become unplayable
