Knife throwing is incredible fun, but also that Air-Power-Slam with Gorilla arms. Shotguns are a nice addition for gore and splatter.
Knife, Shotgun and Gorilla arms and you have lots of fun, promised. Later you get their finishers and its even more fun then!
all finishers are bugged unfortunately
1. Turn difficulty to very hard if it is not
I prefer a ninja build. To do this so im not slaughtered, I use a Sandevistan implant that allows me to slow down time for a bit, get in, slash, get out. Then pull out a revolver for engagements.
Other times I try to do a total sneak run and not take out anybody. Easier said than done depending on gig.
Yes but there is a mod that fixes the finishers. And CDPR confirmed they are working on an official fix
Ah yes i forgot because i still play 2.02. But they will be fixed later i suppose and maybe there is a mod for that?
If you dont have fun with any strategy then i think this game is not for you.
For a new stealth hacking example. If you drink the kool-aid about "Oh it is super lore friendly and if you disagree you hate a challenge!" then when missions start having an entire map go on alert because you used high body to rip a temporarily turned off turret off the mount (unlike all the missons that DON'T). Then you will suck it up like an idiot and give up on any stealthy way to perma disable turrets.
However, if you admit the game is janky trash. Then you know LOUDLY EXPLODING IT (As long as nobody gets hit by the explosion but the bodies you left next to it) even 15 feet away from enemies? Perfect stealth.
Crying "Overheat kills everything!" means you are pretty spoiled or taking 18 years to beat anything but a few dudes rushing you. I actually took the time to pure hack a warehouse to death again and only a dozen guys indoors tops took foreeeever purely due to ram recharge rates alone. even working with nearly 40 ram total. "Two guys down. wait... wait.... wait.... wait.... wait..... two guys down at once.... wait.... wait.... wait... wait.... I could just get in there and kill them with strangling or guns I already marked everybody's location.... wait... two more guys down at once... wait-"
But games are, after all, just games.
I mostly like to just wander around and occasionally torture AI minds. "Challenge" is not my purpose.
If you want a real challenge, sell everything you own and join the Peace Corps, another humanitarian charity service, or Christian missionary work. You'll never complain about trivial matters like un-challenging video games.
Move on.
There is no magical “fun mode” button you can press and everything becomes “fun”. Cold hard truth is that if you’ve experimented with all the builds and still don’t find any one of them fun, then you just don’t enjoy the game.
It’s neither your nor the game’s fault by the way. There is no single thing in this universe that will satisfy everybody.
That being said, you can install gameplay mods to remedy your boredom. I found vanilla Skyrim to be boring but after modding the hell out of it, I sunk hundreds of hours into the game (which is a lot for me).
I've found the game really shines while playing on very-hard and doing stealth. Gigs are really well built for stealth, and the methodical approach feels on par with the likes of full stealth games like Dishonored. It's that good imo.
Outside of stealth, I self handicap by not using a Sandi/Berserk and typically melee. WIth a goal of sparing as many people as possible.
