Militech is para-military and Arasaka is Japanese so they'll both use Metric. Companies like Biotechnica and Kiroshi are both STEM so probably Metric as well.
Militech is a US arms manufacturer while Arasaka is a Japanese security and arms manufacturer. So if we use the logic that they do not localize their hardware to the country they sell it to, Militech should use Imperial while Arasaka use metric.
Remember. There is only 3 countries in the world that use the imperial system. It is the US, Liberia and Myanmar. So basically the US and two poor countries. If there should ever be a international system everyone use in a world such as Cyberpunk. Everyone should be using the metric system. The corps should simply force the US to start using the metric system if they really do not want to localize (for some reason).
The US may use the Imperial system, but the US Military uses Metric. Militech is basically the NUSA's private army, used in the SA conflict and Reunification War. Thus, my point being Militech, though US based, would use Metric.
Add another to half-assed features pile. Keep up the good work, cdpr
"You know what, I guess it IS your fault scorpion died."
US uses imperial at this time RL.
Surprised this was true, I was sure the UK would have resisted. Lucky I did research instead of just spouting off. xD That said, it was apparently done to conform to EU standards and they are considering going back to imperial now that they are no longer a member...
All that said. NC claims (at least in their hearts) independence from NUSA. That, along with all the corps... I'm not surprised they have a weird mixture going on.

The UK also uses the imperial system but it is pretty schizo in how. We buy beer by the pint but fuel by the litre, our road speeds are in MPH and roadsigns are in miles, pretty everything else is in metric.
Personally I preferred it when my car got forty rods to the hogshead.
The imperial system was taken along by the British when they settled in America, so it is inherit with time
