Are there really no options for sex with your romance partners during dates/hangouts?

Yesterday my male V went on a date with Panam after having gone through her romance arc and having banged inside a hovercraft panzer.

When she joined my male V in the shower, I'd have liked an option to get intimate with her, yet male V just stares at her blankly until she leaves.

I'm just curious as to why sex scenes with romantic partners were not implemented as part of dates, but you can go bang joytoys as much as you want?

Or does this option actually exist in the game, and it just does not trigger for me?

It is especially frustrating after receiving a sexy selfie from Panam showing her butt naked in the shower, teasing male V with her nude body... and if you comment on it that she must be really bored to do something like this, she mentions that she feels restless after having had interrupted sex with V in the panzer.

And yet V can only comment on what he would like to do with her body if he was in the shower with her. But when he actually ends up in the shower with her, he cannot do anything.

It's not that I want this game to devolve into pornographic territory or a dating sim, but it would be nice if the option for sex within an established relationship instead of intercourse with prostitutes was actually part of the game. Dating Panam feels incomplete without giving her and male V a second chance at finishing what they started in the panzer.

But I suspect it has to do with a choice concerning censorship and game ratings.

Which makes no sense since they have JoyToys you can *pay* to have sex with anyway.

Most likely they just copied the mod called "I Really Want To Stay At Your House" - which is also the name of the quest - but either half-assed it, or ignored adding it and other features in. There are a few features that the mod does that the CDPR implementation doesnt do (and its also pretty buggy, surprise...)

Same with the Metro system, which was/is also just a mod (created in 2021) that they officially put in the game.

Do a thorough search of Nexusmods...a modder named Deceptious has made a few mods like this, basically rejigging scenes that are already in the game. However putting actual new sex scenes [or any kind of 'action scene'] in the game would be a pretty huge modification involving new programming and actors, motion cap, etc. I doubt that will ever happen.

Are you unaware that there are sex scenes and nudity in the base game? Why would they have to "name it" after that feature? Just include it in the DLC or whatever patch. Jesus Christ...

I didn't mind not having sex during the date/hangout but I was surprised that it wasn't an option or even mentioned (At least with Panam and the dialogue choices I picked during our date). I was more disappointed in the lack of activities we could really do together. In the default apartment we could just talk/cuddle on the couch, dance to music, shower together, and sleep together, the latter two non-sexually (Which I said, is fine). But anything else was never mentioned, I was surprised she said nothing about the action figure that you get after sending Scorpion on a "funeral." Of course I only did the default apartment so there could have been more with the other apartments or dialogue choices, but for me I got nothing.

But at the end of the day though it is just an extra but (Very) minor feature for players to interact with romantic interests more than anything else. Would have liked to get a buff or something after doing a date ie faster quickhack time with Judy, Tech is temporarily increased with Panam, etc. Though then that would introduce more meta so nevermind.

Don't even need to add an actual scene just like. A fade to black and then wake up in bed cuddling your partner in the morning like what happens if you just sleep.

Maybe the sex was just so bad the first time they never want to do it again?

presumably when you go to sleep and wake up next to your romantic partner you've done the deed. it's left up to the player's imagination which i think is the best way to handle it.

a recent update has it where they will text you and come to your apartment and as stated you wake up next to them.

CDPR should make Strip Poker, whos with me. And put on mobile too. That should get the hype going. You could play up to 5 girls. Maybe Face only for mobile and PC whole body.
