Why on earth would you want toggle aim?

Comfort, preference. In my case, it's laziness. Plus it's a standard feature in most modern shooters.

There are also people with disabilities that would like to see this be implemented.

Mind, it's not the actual aiming we want toggled, but the zoom/aim down sights thingiemajig. In case that wasn't clear. :D:

If you're using a controller, you can set it up in Steam Input fairly easily.

It hasnt been a "standard" since like 2001. NO ONE uses it.

wrong.
many games offer toggle aim (not going to debate what "standard" means in this context).
everyone i know prefers toggle aim in most games for stress reduction/ergonomics/ease of play.

well, i would not say no one uses it....played a bunch on arma 2 and 3 so it is used......but i will say it may be wanted but not really needed...in my opinion at least.

It's "needed" by people like me who have arthritis. Holding down the right mouse button (or any key) or long periods is difficult and painful. Every time I've come back to this game I've had to stop after a while because it hurts too much.

There is a hundred different reasons, carpaltunnel, tendonitis, arthiritis, etc etc etc people have injuries and 99% of FPS shooters have a toggle aim option, i mean its the most basic accessibility option a game could offer.

Unfortunately CD Project Red doesn't necessarily care about accessibility options for gamer's with disabilities or injuries.

Argumentative posts deleted.

This is not a place to argue. If you have no interest in a toggle aim option, please click off the thread and look the other way.

Edit: Topic moved to Ideas & Suggestions subforum.

Since you can't count on them adding it at this point there could be a workaround if you're willing to spend some money and make some adjustments. You can get foot activated mouse buttons online (they're designed for people with disabilities) - put one under your desk and learn to use the right button with your foot instead of the mouse.

Quite a compromise, but it might let you play this game and others without aim toggle.
