Some of it more shameless than others. "Oh cool, Relic system unlocks a charge meter on my gorilla arms that makes my strong punch stronger-WAIT A MINUTE that was how gorilla arms worked at launch before they took it away! There was a mod slot for the meter and everything!"
I see we're just inventing new definitions for pay 2 win.
That charged punch was utterly useless in 1.6, even with the best battery, now it's amazing.
P2W in a single player? I wonder how, but this is getting a bit of topic
They were asking if they should buy with or without the DLC, so pointing out how much the DLC gives you compared to the game IS on topic.
What is it with sales that have fans sabotaging the devs walllet? "Nah man the DLC isn't that great totally not pay2win in fact saying how much stronger the DLC content is than base game is off topic please ignore DLC power hype talk"
I did say only to buy the base game, see my earlier post, and only to buy the DLC if OP wants the full experience. OP will save money if it does not like the story, setting and/or gameplay
They dont, well not in CP at least, the DLC is a one off payment just like the DLC of most other games, Its the Steam forums, people just like to moan and complain for no reason, check the forums of any game on Steam .... Full of people moaning and complaining and usually over dumb s**t just like this thread.
Take Baldur's Gate 3 for example, overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam, most review sites call the game a masterpiece giving it scores like 10/10, 9/10 & 97%.
Yet read the Steam forum and its people just moaning and complaining, its just the Steam forums for you, its just a cesspit for virgin, spotty no lifers.
It is used mostly in Multiplayer, when it is a free game, and people can buy weapons to gain advantage over other players. The 'free' player will be locked out of such weapons, and is forced to buy them to regain balance. Same goes with armour, lately most games are cosmetic instead, but there used to be a time games were abandoned because of P2W.
In a single player game, it is useless to use the term, there are no other players to match. So the advantage is player vs bot, were the bot will not get 'the best weapons' because it payed for them.
Ah hahaha, guess you are right
Ah, gotcha. I don't care at all about the MP, so I guess I can just ignore that
