How much Fps I will get with my Pc specs

Windows 11

Rtx 4080

Intel i9-13900KF

32 GB of Ram

*Edit* NVME SSD

*Edit again* 1080p onn tv monitor

Also I want to run overdrive raytracing graphics setting without running at 25 fps, so what settings is best for overdrive raytracing graphics setting.

I watched a video with a guy at 1920x1080 with worse cpu then yours 13600 and 4080 and without dlss he was hitting down to 42fps avg driving around the city. And dog town would be worse. With dlss quality he was at 75fps avg driving around. Wonder how old the video was. Results seem pretty bad imo. So i guess 150-200fps is out.

depends on a few factors that you don't mention....installing on a SSD for one.

You didn't say what resolution you want to run at. But my old puter with a 4080 using ray tacing overdrive gets as below. Now mind you i am obviously cpu bound and have to use framegen. Really hurts the min framerate and max but min greatly affected. I'm bandwidth limited as well which effects min and max but max framerate mostly. So i would expect at least 40% better results with your stated gear. Well if you know what you're doing comp wise that is.

Man that benchmark is just so odd. So hard to get same results. Had max framerate 217 min 30 with avg 91 on next run. Just selecting ray tracing overdrive puts it into dlss auto. So may have switched from quality to balanced. Ok tried selecting dlss quality gets lower results about 10% less. Click my profile for exact computer gear if you like.

When you said screen resolution and I realized I didn't said what resolution I have I was going to say sh*t but I held my tongue bc its 2:24 AM EST time but I have a tv monitor with "ONN" logo which is a 1080p resolution

Ok cool thanks but I can't get my hope up because I got to make sure the game run super well so the reason why I post this discussion because I don't know how much Fps I can get so I asked the community if my computer can run the game with overdrive graphics setting so I hope that you said that the Fps run at 150 Fps avg is accurate or almost accurate, thanks for the help 😁

Watch this guy's video. Might be more helpful. But his results seem meh. ANd remember i was using dlss + framegen. If i were you i'd use dlss quality and no framegen. If you feel like fps is a little low then try framegen. It can cause several different issues so be aware. I'm ok with it but i have no choice.

But what does framegen do

Inserts a fake frame is the short answer. Helps old cpus like mine. But it helps in general even with a new system. It can create ghosting and other artifacts. And overdrive doesn't like it. Overdrive is pathing and reconstruction. Ray reconstruction messes up water falls for me with sort of like a double image. Pay tracing has issues as well. If i didn't have to use framegen i'd be using pathing and reconstruction. But not happy with how it looks with framegen. And oddly enough i actually prefer Ray tracing Ultra setting. Basically no pathing or reconstruction. Some areas look great. This one dude's facve looked good and his cyborg arm. But the lady next to him her face was clownish. I swaped back to no pathing or reconstruction and she looked good now. But the guy lost some detail. But her face destroyed pathing and reconstruction for me. So 2 reasons for me not to use it. It's a personal choice some like ultra some prefer overdrive. I'll take ultra. The extra framerate is a bonus.

Whatever your TVs refresh rate is, which being some cheap ONN set is I assume 60Hz.
So, 60fps.
Running above refresh rate will cause major screen tearing.

You're gonna want a console level SSD (2020 m.2 or newer) no matter what GPU you got or you're gonna stutter hard

Use Nvidia Frame Generation as it's a 40 series exclusive, all maxed ray tracing at 4K with my 4090 I get an average 100fps paired with a 7950X3D.

You will have similar but ultimately lower numbers compared to this at the same resolution.

But really, who pairs a 13900kf and 4080 with a 60hz 1080p screen?

You're just going to be under utilizing both parts at 60hz/fps, or bottlenecking the CPU and in screen tearing heaven if you decide to run above refresh rate.

Not knocking the rig at all, it's a nice set up that should be paired with at least a 1440p 144 panel, if not 4k 120-144 to be able to actually use it to its fullest potential

i never have screen tearing on fortnite and it runs at 150 to 200 FPS so... i have not seen any screen tearing yet but yes it's 60hz screen.

"who pairs a 13900kf and 4080 with a 60hz 1080p screen?"

Dude i just got a computer this year and i'm paying 200 to 400 dollars per month so it's hard for me to get 1440p screen OK it's a alienware r15 PC tower *i got it on sale*

so..... i will try to get a 1440 sometime 2024

and i hope this discussion don't get locked by mods so.... i do not want to start a rally in this discussion to make this discussion to get locked BC i always follow this discussion rules
