Have you never seen Castaway?! Jesus it's been two years you could of died or ghosted her. She is just suppose to sit by the phone waiting?

Im guessing you mean the after the tower ending credits.

If you had a lover who vanished for years, you would move on too. Its not that far fetched.

You disapeared for 2 years and expect her to just sit around wondering what happened to you and wait for you forever?

She thought you were dead and moved on with her life like any normal person would.

So now V is to blame. i am sorry, dear judy, but the person was finding a perfect spot between dying and keeping a life in tact.
and all she has to offer is - i am married

tbh i found this ending kind of ♥♥♥♥ in general. V could have asked Reed to contact his/her friends during the coma. But given the circumstances its understandable judy/ panam went their own ways.

It would have been a nice ending if panam didnt go emo which again could have been prevented by some contact from Reed during the coma. But instead you lose all your lovers + Johnny and the ability to be use cyberware.

I'm still working to get the other endings + some of the base ones hopefully theyre somewhat better. So far I really like the star ending as fem v leaving with panam but looking to redo it and see how the dialogue goes with judy also.

And? Is moving on, finding someone else, and marrying them a bad reason not to immediately go back to an ex after they come back after two years of thinking they were dead? You want any married woman - or even man - to just drop whatever life they have just to get back together with someone because "they came back"?

V was gone for two years, it sucks that s/he fell into a coma but his/her loved ones had to continue with their lives, even if V won't for two years.

The "romance" in this game is a joke. You spend most of the time just pratting about in the city, committing various acts of violence and merc work for the fixers. Yet the "romance" characters are always waiting around for their V to show up and don't do anything else with their lives
Honestly the fact that they have a limit and eventually decide enough is enough and move on with their lives is a little refreshing. Nevermind that you have to pick literally THE worst ending to get that outcome.

The game canonically takes place in under 6 months after the prologue. They also added a "date night" feature that literally makes it seem like you haven't played the game in awhile and are still in these forums searching for posts to trash it in.

The relationship with Judy always seemed like it was just a fling but that whole ending is absolute dog crap anyway.

I accept that they're trying, but it is a pointless struggle. This isn't the sort of game that believable romances can take place in. The disconnect between gameplay and plot, combined with the fundamental mercenary action style of the game do not make a suitable environment for character investment. No amount of "Press X for scripted date" could possibly fix that.

Ever played Mass Effect 2 (or at least the beginning of it)?

Cerberus, The Illusive Man and most importantly, the Lazarus Project? Ring a bell?

Yeah, you can’t exactly blame your companions for leaving you because they saw you die with their own eyes.

Not as bad as Panam, who even as a non romantic interest wants nothing do do with V and even has Mitch tell V they are no longer welcome in the Aldecados.

Even liking Judy more than Panam (who is a bumbling disaster more than Judy ever is)

Judy leaving your damaged goods ass behind is understandable. Judy's issues are how she is in denial about how psycho she is.

"Nah man I just chipped the dolls to be murderhobos no big deal haha giggle. Now remember, if you kill an NPC I will act very upset about murder but still sleep with you. If you go behind my back I will act angry about it and still sleep with you. But if you take less money than it costs to buy a pair of pants, I will break up with you"

Meanwhile Panam is talking ♥♥♥♥ about a corpse she created getting spotted because her AI gets impatient and shoots somebody in the middle of your stealth run.

Judy saves me time leaving me herself. I have to flee to space to get away from Panam's dumbassery. "Yes. I fought secret harder ending smasher for the challenge, honest."

Better she leaves and then finds a new one, then cheat on you, she is honest that she does not like how it will end between them. Judy will still love V, but knows the costs to keep holding on and it would drag her along. It feels better to let her go, have her own life and luck. V is a broken doll, some girls want to keep it, others replace it, that is how life is

She is a self absorbed brat.
Nowadays my corpos always sides with Maiko so Judy throws a fit and leaves NC.
Others just say it's a one night fling and she leaves too.

And still in PL endings she still calls many times like they had romance...
Quality work, CDPR .
