a) The game needs quite some power, so high end pc is the best you can do. (I also have a 3080. runs grrrrreat). Make sure to install it on a ssd.
b) Mods!
(controller for driving can work quite well. For shooting kb+m is clearly superior)
More of a fantasy setting lover but nice to have a change up. :)
Nowadays is prefer to use kb+m for driving as well, since now we have vehicle combat (so you can aim with the mouse while driving with wasd, headshoting drivers).
But I use an analog keyboard that can simulate a controler on keypress, so that I dont have to drive with full throttle all the time. (so essentially I have a keyboard, but technically the w and s keys are a controller axis)
While I would say "Play PC so you can at the very least use mods for console commands to ♥♥♥♥♥♥ things a bit" (even though I stubbornly played vanilla until 2.1)
