Takemura's Driving

This dude has to be the worst driver. Every time he drives he's crashing into everything and its down right hilarious. Absolute legend.

It is omost everybody who crashes into stuff if you wach closely around you not only takemuras san 😁
I think it's indeed legend and it's a buggin gamemechanical issue here and not too many sake 🤠

My first time through the DLC, I had Reed cause a large pile-up, the game had to essentially de-spawn a bunch of wrecked cars just to not soft-lock the game.

You do realise that Takemura's driving is a) scripted and b) dude is driving wounded AND without his cyberware?
(which he previously used to do most of the driving with... Notice, when he first sets off in the car, his eyes are glowing. That's 'drive assist' something those text car parking spaces tell you to use.)

I'd say he does well ("Did well back there" lol now I realise maybe V isn't talking about his shooting, but maybe, his driving) considering he's driving against a bunch of highly trained assassin's (Troy and the rest of the bikers) one handed and in withdrawal cause his corp owned cyberware got shut down.
(Corpo V only looses a little, compared to him. I mean, he's got hand, throat, eye and head cyberware visible...how much more internal stuff does he loose when Yorinobu declared him traitor?)

So far, I haven't had too many bad npc driving crashess, at least not the ones I meet. Had some very impatient drivers cause chaos tho.
Couple nights ago, I was carefully driving the agrophobic Delamain back to the garage when a couple TygerClaws pulled up. Drove in front of me, jumped out threatening.
I backed up a little, but some girl on a bike rear ended em. They decided 'screw V, shoot the bike chick!'
Then got into a fight with Scavs in the next car XD
I made it back to the garage, got out and some scav guy tried to beat me up. Bloody followed me.
So yeah.. Bad driving here and there.
Keep hearing thunks and crashes near Afterlife too, but can't see cars hitting.

Better them driving then V (me). I abhor driving in this game. Failed the Delemain Quest line that way (in this playthrough). Wish I knew that in advance I would have failed it sooner (Did that car last). Hate that whole quest line with a passion.

I thought it both odd and funny that Jackie drives/drove like a great-grandma: all scrunched up to the steering wheel and never gets out of 2nd gear.

I do remember Goro being a menace to pedestrians, now that you mention it.

At least he drives better than the police does, V hits a citizen (it does not die) and the police is like "let's drive over some to get the one that hit that citizen, it does not matter if some die"

In my saves Takemura always drive well and always switch on the radio with relaxing jazz.

The first time i met up with Takemura, i made the mistake of parking my car right in front of where his Van pulls up. When he left he rammed into my car, knocked it on its side and then eventually launched it into the air over a railing and out of play. I couldn't stop laughing for a good 5 freaking minutes. It was awesome haha

haha right? I had a guy run into the street and i hit him and the cops started firing at me.

Haha yeah. I don't mind the bad driving, i think it adds to the game. Makes it more enjoyable.
