2.1 Black screen (no mods) WTF!

Was playing Cyberpunk before lunch (no mods) no after lunch 2.1 update has installed and all I get is a black screen

i also updated to latest geforce drivers and get black screen after title splash, no main menu.

I had a intro skip mod that did this. But if you have no mods, hmm

As moo said i did as well. I also removed the --launcher-skip -skipStartScreen launch option for the game in steam just to be sure. Worked fine after that.

Yep not had any mods since I started 2.0, was planning a day of playing cyberpunk that's ♥♥♥♥♥♥ now :(

Also have disabled cloud saves and removed all saves, still no joy :(

Same here. Updated the driver, disabled mods, checked launch options to see nothing written there, verified game files. Still black screen.

I'll try re-installing from back-up and if that doesn't work I'll straight up re-download the game.

Same here, starts to lag a bit at first CP2077 screen. Then comes the black screen.
Activitymanager says something about a RedErrorReporter, but i dont see any.

ok fixed mine by removing no-intro-videos mod manually from the file system.

I'm not using mods so nothing left to remove...

I have removed all my (no-mod) saves, disabled Cloud Saves, updated graphics drivers, rebooted PC.

All for a game I was running 1 hour BEFORE FOOKING update broke the game FFS!

After you've said this, I manually checked the game files as well. No-intro-videos mod was left over from who knows how many months ago. The game's started to work fine after I yeeted that mod.

I encourage everyone to check if they left this mod in place. Don't trust your mod manager and check yourself. Path is Steam\steamapps\common\Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod .

Same issue here, lag on start up, then I crash after it finishes loading one of my saves as soon as I hit space.

If you once installed skip intro mod. Try to delete Cyberpunk 2077\archive\pc\mod\basegame_no_intro_videos.archive file.
