Do I get a free upgrade to Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition if I already own both Cyberpunk 2077 and Phantom Liberty?

Thought the Ultimate Edition is only physical, for consoles, not PC. But I could have missed a note

Its available as physical for PC, Xbox and PlayStation.
Far as I know, its all 'on disk' for both PC and Xbox, but PlayStation will still need to download phantom liberty.
(Saw unhappy birds chirping on my feed about 'having to still download the expansion' due to Sony)

your copy will become ultimate after the upcoming patch whats adding in some mods and making them official. theres vids on youtube already talking about it but short version we are getting a train system / more romance interactions / bikes improvement / raod races / new cars / ai will send more troops to areas you attack, and just some quality of life stuff, Dont think anymore story quests are coming though.

That is the Ultimate Edition lol it's literally just the base game + the expansion.

You literally already own the Ultimate Edition since it’s just the game + expansion. In fact, it’s functionally identical to the existing Cyberpunk 2077 + Phantom Liberty bundle that’s already available to purchase.

Your question is a dead giveaway that you haven’t actually understood the original announcement post despite reading it.

The doubt is legitimate, after all this happened with Witcher III, when Witcher III GOTY Edition was released, all players who had the base game and all expansions were eligible to receive a free copy of the GOTY Edition version, I myself received mine despite never having installed it, as it already had more than 700 hours in the Base version + DLCs.
So I hope you receive a version of Cyberpunk Ultimate Edition just to install and enjoy while the Mods for this version are not updated, it is really frustrating having to make a backup and keep switching between patches and waiting for all your favorite mods to be updated to the latest version of the game.

Also W3 goty version number is different from the normal version which is important if you install any mods

Ultimate Edition is just the game and the DLC packaged together. If you have both already then you are set.
