Have they added toggle aim in 2.1 yet?
It's been bugging me that they don't have an option to enable toggle to aim down sights for so long despite the fact that it's a common feature in fps games, and they had toggle crouch, toggle scan, and toggle sprint in the game.

-Metro System
-Portable Radio
-You can now spend time with romanced partners (unspecified)
-Full DualSense PC support
-New Vehicles, (5 new motorcycles, new Porsche, etc)
-Closed off highway is now open
-Boss Encounter Overhauls (Adam Smasher fight changes, etc)
-New Accessibility Settings (HUD modification, disable hacking mini-game timer, etc)
-You can now participate in races after Claire Russel’s quest, winning auto fixer discounts
-You can now lean / do tricks on Motorcycles
-You can now use throwing knives on motorcycles

Doesn't look like it. But ( my opinion) Cyberpunk is not really a FPS. It is more of a RPG.

Well, if they *did* add toggle aim, it'd probably be part of "more unannounced features" or "accessibility settings", rather than it's own callout in the list. It's a pretty small feature. /shrug

whether or not it's an fps or an rpg doesn't matter. Toggle aim is just an accessibility feature that should've been in the game since day one.

people will whine about anything and everything. Literally anything.

If it had ADS toggle but not hold-to-scope, there would be a subset of gamers in here complaining that toggling ADS takes too long and they miss shots or get shot by closer people or melee attackers they didn't see coming, and can they just have hold RMB to pop the scope / sights up? You know that's true.

Anyway, there's a little exe potat0gunner made that works fine, if you want. You'll have to trust someone elses' executable running as administrator on your system, but I don't think he's trying to trojan you. But he might be! heh.

meh......that is your opinion. Personally, ADS is not needed in my opinion.

You'll find a zip file on nexusmods unzip the file and put the application in your documents then run that when you run cyberpunk it'll work with other games that don't have aim toggle. Search for = CP77_TogADS_GUI

So? You dont think people deserve to have both options available? I don't see a point in you whining about people who ask for an accessibility option that's been standard in every fps games since Half-Life. That's like complaining about people who ask for keybind options because the default keyboard controls were garbage.

I never even knew that toggle-ADS was a thing until I saw someone complaining about it missing from some game (this? Fallout 4?) a few years ago. Every FPS or FPS-adjacent game I've played in decades had been hold-to-aim. The entire idea of toggle-aim seems incredibly awkward to me. /shrug

Accessibility options are a slippery slope to me. On the one hand I want more people to enjoy games regardless of their physical limitations. On the other I can't help but shake my head at folks with no limitations (besides sucking) using them as a crutch instead of, you know, trying harder to be good at what they are playing.

Yes, I'm an old curmudgeon. I don't mean to be rude, but sometimes the truth can be a bit abrasive.
Bogmore Dec 1, 2023 @ 5:45pm
I don't think it will be added in this engines version of the game, maybe when it changes to Unreal.

This one works too, among other (all optional) interface features.

Been a pc gamer since the 90's. Playing mostly FPS and never understood why anyone needs ads. As someone else mentioned I never even knew it existed until I saw complaints about it. I mean how freaking hard is it to press the right mouse button. And if you press the right mouse button just as you pull out your gun it is instant. But I just don't get it. Although like someone else said, people will always find something to complain about.
