Yeah, was going to ask about that.
All I've seen are vids that make the cars look nearly undriveable. Are there any good mods to make them more controllable when using moue+keyboard?
We're getting an actual official NCART now with patch 2.1
Once mods are back up to date.....
I'd say the no walk auto disable mod is my number 1 must have.

Let's you just walk. No sudden returning to jog after you pass by someplace, or pass invisible area thresholds.
(I lasted about 30mins before I went to the nexus looking for something like this lol. I wanted to WALK around NightCity, and yeah...I can vanilla....but I press G to walk when I get out of bed...get close to the shower- I'm jogging again.... G to walk to the stash.... I'm jogging again.... G to walk to leave my apartment.... GHAH..... Jog, jog, JOG! It disables this constant need to turn walk back on again. You use sprint, it defaults back to jogging, which makes sense. But this means you can just properly walk from place to place. I walked from the H10 to Tom's Diner to talk with Takemura, and it meant I didn't feel like I would trip and headbutt the table when I got there....I mean, this is NightCity....gotta make an entrance, swagger in all cool, choom. Not jog in like you just realised you are late, skid into the tabletop at speed and leave bite marks in the melamine.)
So the cars mostly suck to drive but I'm finding the bikes almost enjoyable. Mostly FT or run in the city, dirtbike the outskirts.

Vanilla dialogue skip is very lacking, half time it just doesn't work
Not having much luck installing mods. Tried the Flashlight mod. Didn't make my game crash but the mod that's supposed to create a menu for choosing the hotkey seems to not be working or something.
if its the same flashlight i used to use

this one?
in which case, yeah, first you need to install the newest CET (cyber engine tweeks)
set up its keybind for CET (usually f4 by default) there is a way to fix it if you cant get the CET ui to show.
1. Head to your CP game folder and open "bindings.json" file in Notepad.
Cyberpunk 2077\bin\x64\plugins\cyber_engine_tweaks\bindings.json
2. Look for:
"cet": {
"overlay_key": xxxxxxx [ <--- this is a binding key code]
},
3. Replace it with 32369622321725440 (F4).
"cet": {
"overlay_key": 32369622321725440
},
4. Save the file, restart and press F4.
5. If CET shows up, select "Bindings" and change the binding to the key you want. Click Save.
6. Write your binding somewhere (eg. a sticky note) as a reminder (not required).
once thats got its own binding, you use that to open the CET mod. under Bindings, you should be able to see the current binding for the flashlight mod as well as the one you chose for CET.
I also like Cyber Vehicle Overhaul, although I hear the base game is better for vehicle experience than it was. I run a lot of 4K upgrades to NPC appearances, particularly the ones by Xilamonstrr, but they are hardly essential. There's also a mod that prevents your vehicles from despawning as soon as you turn your back on them...a small thing but very nice.
I'm going to play (and stream) 2.1 without any mods just to see what the base game is like these days. I modded the weapon mods in game to be removable, but I've been playing without it and I find the new system is pretty workable.
