Mission payouts and weapon prices make no sense, shops are mostly worthless
Like the title says, the weapon prices vs mission payouts in this game make zero sense. Most missions (including major campaign missions with high stakes and big players involved) only pay out maybe 10k eddies tops even at max level. But at higher levels even trash guns sell for around 1k each, and killing random gangsters on the street nets me a mix of greens, blues and even a few purples and the occasional legendary. By wiping out a single trash group of gangsters and selling the loot I can easily make more than Mr. Hands will pay me for basically choosing the next head of dogtown.

Then there's buying weapons. At max level, a regular gun costs 50k for no reason and the guns in the shops aren't any better than what I can loot on the street for free (and also get more loot to sell). I can understand a legendary weapon costing 100k (IRL people with the means will absolutely pay the price of a nice new car for a handbuilt custom weapon) but why are generic shop weapons so expensive when it isn't even an upgrade over what the trash on the street carry?

This also has the problem of making weapon shops useless unless they happen to have a legendary weapon you buy once and forget the shop exists.

2.0 would have been a perfect time to rebalance this, V is a merc and so should be making the bulk of their income from jobs, not selling trash picked up along the way. Vastly increase mission payouts, greatly decrease the buy/sell price of weapons at shops (except for legendaries), reduce the price of crafting materials (those are also stupidly expensive for no reason, I can almost buy a legendary weapon/clothing item even at the inflated prices and scrap it and get more crafting components for the money) and make it so most enemies only drop up to blue weapons unless they're high threat minibosses, and shops should carry better quality guns than what the player can loot at their current level so they're actually worth visiting to get an upgrade. This would tie in nicely with the repeatable car missions we got for recurring endgame income, although we should also have repeatable gun for hire type jobs of go here and eliminate bad guys similar to the old Oblivion/Skyrim style radiant quests.

Economy gets even more lopsided if you're a netrunner since duplicate quickhacks are good for nothing but selling and are worth quite a lot. I finished my 2.0 playthrough with over 2.5 million eddies and nothing to spend them on.

The game works and i am not complaining But...the shops are worthless now. Weapons are only worth recycling and at a certain point you have maxed your weapons and cyber deck. It is not for me to tell them how to make a game. Edit i have never bought a weapon.
